Hawaii deployment

Major Randy Wardle, comforts his daughter Shyanne, 7, during the deployment ceremony at Sills Field at Schofield Barracks. Maj. Wardle will be deployed to Afganistan next week for a full year. Approximately 4, 500 soldiers from Hawaii will deploy to Afgananistan throughout March and April. This is the largest deployment in history for the 25th Infantry Division.
