Lucy Pemoni is a freelance photojournalist working with the two largest news services in the world, the Associated Press and Reuters New Service. She has been covering international news, events, portraits on the mainland and in Hawaii for nearly 20 years.

Her work has appeared internationally and nationally including Time Magazine, Oprah, Sports Illustrated, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Honolulu Magazine, USA Today, MSNBC and ABC News. Lucy has won many numerous regional and national awards. Her photos have appeared in the photo book 'Hawaii 24/7' and have been exhibited in the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC.

She has worked as a still photographer on the set of TV show "Dog, the Bounty Hunter' , MY ANTONIO , MORE TO LOVE and various assignments with cast and crew of the hit ABC show 'LOST'.


Lucy was born and raised about 25 miles north of New York City, Lucy Pemoni is a graduate of the George Washington University, Washington, D.C., and University of Missouri-Columbia with a photojournalism degree. She has worked as a newspaper staff photographer in Connecticut, California, Nevada and New York before moving to Kailua, Hawaii.

ルーシーの写真は国の内外で「タイム」や「オプラ」や「スポーツ・イラストレイテッド」や「ニューヨーク・タイムズ」や「ワシントン・ポスト」や「ホノルル雑誌」や「USAトゥディ」や「MSNBC」や「ABCニュース」などにでています。また、「ハワイ２４／７」と言う写真集とワシントンDCにあるスミソニアン研究所にも出ていました。地方と国内の賞も数々受賞しました。　

ルーシー・ペモニはニューヨーク市から40キロの北にある町に生まれ育ちました。写真報道の学位を取り、ワシントンDCのジョージワシントン大学とミズーリ大学コロンビア校を卒業しました。ハワイのカイルアに来る前にコネティカット州とカリフォルニア州とネバダ州とニューヨーク州で新聞の写真部員として働きました。
