Lucy Pemoni is a freelance photojournalist working with the two largest news services in the world, the Associated Press and Reuters New Service. She has been covering weddings on the mainland and in Hawaii for over 15 years. Her work has appeared internationally and nationally including Time Magazine, Oprah, Sports Illustrated, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Honolulu Magazine, USA Today, MSNBC and ABC News. Lucy has won many numerous regional and national awards. Her photos have appeared in the photo book 'Hawaii 24/7' and have been exhibited in the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. Lucy was born and raised about 25 miles north of New York City, Lucy Pemoni is a graduate of the George Washington University, Washington, D.C., and University of Missouri-Columbia with a photojournalism degree. She has worked as a newspaper staff photographer in Connecticut, California, Nevada and New York before moving to Kailua, Hawaii.
